Good news about the Daanoe app!
Due to new regulations with YouTube and ads, the app was under maintenance for a while. The good news is that the app is rebuild and that also 10 extra videos are unlocked (listed below). For both, iOS and Android, the app is waiting for you to download from the store. If you can’t find the app, please scroll down this page.
Enjoy your travel in time again!
I want to offer you a peek through the windows, to travel in time with me and experience the places I have visited as if you are really there. To make this possible, I have created a free app. Using the app, you can scan the photos which will bring them to life. But it doesn’t stop there! Press the button and put your phone inside the VR Goggles provided, and you will be transported to another reality.
Not all photos have (360 degree) videos right now. In time, more and more videos will become unlocked.

With the new build of the app, 10 extra videos have become unlocked. This time I have also included one video from my book Touched by Time and two videos (including VR!) from The Palmen Barnfind album.

You can find the new app that brings the photos to life in the app store by searching ‘daanoe’ or with the direct links below. If you can’t find or install the app, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
If you can't find the app in the app store
Always check first whether your phone is updated to the latest software version. If you still can’t find the app in the store, I expect that you have an older Android phone. Unfortunately Android sets minimum requirements for the app in the Play Store. Google says the reason for this is to ensure that users benefit from security, privacy and performance.
But there is a solution. You can install the app manually by downloading with the button below. Don’t let the security warnings spook you. Of course your phone will inform you it is a risk to install apps outside of the stores, because they weren’t there to verify the app for you. I ensure you, this app is safe to install.

If the VR video doesn’t start full screen, rotate the screen to the side and flip it back again.
Most VR videos are super high resolution (8K), so if your VR video doesn’t play in high resolution, please change your quality settings in YouTube:

Or while playing VR content:
Touch screen, press settings in upper right corner, quality, advanced and select the highest number (for example 2160s)
