The data we collect
When you make a purchase, fill out a contact form, or register for our newsletter, you will be asked to fill in your details. We only process the data that you provide to us. This can be the following information:

We use the data provided by you to make the orders as quick and easy as possible. We will not sell and / or provide your information to third parties. Your data will only be made available to third parties if they are involved in processing your order.
Our web shop is developed with software from Drupal Commerce. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Drupal Commerce has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Drupal Commerce is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have made with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy.
When paying in the web shop you are always referred to the website of a so-called Payment Processor by means of a secure connection. Daanoe uses Sisow and PayPal as payment providers. Your payment details (PayPal login or Ideal data) are not passed on to our servers and are therefore not stored by Daanoe.
We use web hosting and e-mail services from Elonisas. Elonisas processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Elonisas has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Elonisas is obliged to maintain secrecy on the basis of the confidentiality agreement.
Shipping and logistics
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL for the execution of the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and accounting
Your name, address and residence details and details related to your order are used for the management of sales invoices. These are made manually by Daanoe using Microsoft Excel.
We use the services of Accountview to keep track of our administration and accounting. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. In case of a book order, only the last name and the details of the order are shared. Your personal data is stored protected. Accountview is required to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Accountview does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
I have to pass on the details on your invoice to my accountant / tax advisor.
General purpose of data processing
We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later date - other than at your request - we will ask you for explicit permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties have all been kept confidential on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This information (eg your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Participation in tax and criminal investigation
In some cases, Daanoe may be obliged to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations on the basis of a legal obligation. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.
We keep your data as long as you remain our client. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request for forget-request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we need to keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.
You always have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, after which we will no longer process your data. Withdrawal of this consent does not affect the legality of our data declaration on the basis of your consent, which took place prior to this withdrawal.
You also have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify your personal data. If you want to know which personal data we process from you, you can submit a written request for access.
If your details are incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request us in writing to change or supplement your data. You also have a right to erase your personal data, a right to limit the processing and a right to object to the processing. You also have the right to transfer your data. You can also submit a written request for this.

A cookie is a small file that is sent by our website and placed by your browser on the device where you visit our website. The information stored in the cookie can be sent back to our website when you visit the website again.
A so-called Facebook pixel is active on the Daanoe website. What this pixel does is to see whether a person's Facebook profile can be found. This information can later be used as a target for Facebook ads. The data of this pixel have not been used by Daanoe until now (25-5-2018).
Through our website, cookies are placed from the American company named Google as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged to provide access to these data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.
