The Palmen Barnfind (special edition)

It has been all over the news. Not only in The Netherlands, but even on the front page of CNN and in magazines like Top Gear. Gallery Aaldering presents one of the greatest barnfinds ever. The large Barnfind collection contains 230 special and beautiful classics such as Maserati, Lancia, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Aston Martin, BMW, Facel Vega and so much more.

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph the cars in the state as they were discovered. I couldn’t believe it when Nico Aaldering contacted me to ask me if I would be interested in photographing this barnfind. He knew my work and knew this was just my thing. Not knowing exactly what to expect I drove to the two locations were the cars were discovered: a church and a huge barn. When I opened the doors, my jaw dropped. Hundreds of beautiful cars, hiding in the dark, under a thick layer of dust and soot from the fire. With goosebumps and a big smile on my face I started photographing these beauties.

I have also created a very luxurious leatherette bound Prestige album with my best photos of The Palmen Barnfind Collection. Super high quality, thick pages and limited edition. But it doesn't stop there! Just like my last book 'Travel in Time', it is possible to scan photos with the free Daanoe app to bring the photos to life. The book Palmen Barnfind Colleciton (special edition) has a beautiful matt hardcover and has 80 pages with many high quality photos. This book is not part of the book collection (Urban Exploration & Photography, Gift of Time, Touched by Time and Travel in Time) and is a little bit smaller. It is not (yet) printed in high volume but only on demand. Therefore the delivery time is approximately two weeks.
